Personal Use by Individuals

If you want to use Affixa for your own personal use as an individual, it’s absolutely free. There are no nagging reminders, no advertisements, etc.

If you feel you want to support Affixa’s development and make use of the subscriber-only options, please consider subscribing for just £2 [Convert] a year.

Use Within Organisations

To use Affixa in an organisation (commercial, non-profit, education, government, etc), you strong>must buy a subscription licence. Again, this costs from £2 [Convert] a year, but per-licence costs decrease after the first 25 licences.

If you are considering introducing Affixa to your organisation, you might be interested in our Deployment Guide.

If you wish to discuss other licensing approaches, please do contact us.

Licence Model

Licences for individuals, charities and educational establishments are typically sold on a per-computer basis. All other organisational licences are sold on a per-user basis.

Where charities or educational establishments get better value-for-money with per-user licences, feel free to choose the “business” option in the form above.

Please note that “per-computer” refers to the number of client workstations in Terminal Services or Citrix environments.

Licence Restrictions

Note that licences are tied to specific machines. This means that:

  • You can rebuild the computer on which you activate your Affixa subscription an unlimited number of times;
  • A limited allowance is given for re-activation on other computers to cover the possibility of run-of-the-mill computer replacement, etc;
  • Your subscription will be validated from time to time online. If validation with Notably Good Ltd’s server [https://www.notablygood.com] fails multiple times but an Internet connection is otherwise working, the software will return to the non-subscriber mode. This validation process does not prevent occasional offline usage by laptops. Users may return to subscriber-level functionality by re-activating their subscription when an Internet connection to Notably Good Ltd’s server is made possible.
